Acupuncture

The body has numerous channels or meridians in which energy or Qi (“chee”) travels all over the body. Along these channels are acupuncture points that have specific functions in balancing the body. Acupuncture then involves inserting very fine needles into specific points which will address a person’s imbalance.
There are nearly 400 points recognized by the WHO (World Health Organization) but this number can skyrocket when we consider the points employed by practitioners who work with microsystems. Microsystems are basically working with specific parts of the body, for example the ears, to target different body parts. In every microsystem, every part of the body is represented in that microsystem, whether we are using the ears, the scalp, the face, the hands and feet. We typically use the ears, the face, and the scalp when working with microsystems.

Herbal Medicine

Humans’ use of plants for medicinal purposes dates back to over 5,000 years. The Sumerians and the Chinese, according to studies, were the first ones to practice this modality. There are about 365 species of different plants used in Chinese herbology. As society is finally realizing that drugs may be doing more damage than good to the body, more and more people are turning to herbal medicine. And, as our machines are becoming more sophisticated, we are finally discovering why our ancestors used specific herbs for specific conditions. Although technology has a long way to go, we can remain optimistic because herbal medicine has been passing most, if not all, of these tests.

We prescribe herbal medicine which are already in pill form. This allows for the convenience that modern man expects but with the healing effects discovered by the ancient man. We stock numerous formulas which makes us prepared to handle different conditions.

Cupping

Cupping therapy has been practiced for several thousands of years all over the world. Vacuum is generated by inserting fire inside of the glass cups then quickly removed and immediately placed on the body. The back is the most common place on which cupping is done, but other areas of the body are also treated.

Cupping works wonderfully for tight muscles and pain, in general, as it promotes the movement of Qi or energy inside of the meridians. Moreover, cupping helps promote the circulation of blood throughout the whole body, which makes them very useful for injuries and other blood stagnation-related conditions.

Sound Healing

We have a full range of crystal singing bowls, which are very powerful tools for bringing the system back into balance.  Sound healing is one of the oldest healing modalities and it goes all the way back to antiquity.  One can easily see the effect of music on one’s state of being when one finds herself/himself winding down when listening to relaxing music.  Fast-paced music, on the other hand, acts like a stimulant which puts the body in a very alert and active mode.

Each organ resonates at a specific frequency and corresponds to a particular note.  For example, the heart organ, which belongs to the 4th Chakra, corrsponds to the F note.  When there is an imbalance in the heart, the organ is vibrating at a different frequency.  By sounding a singing bowl with the note of F, the practitioner is helping to reorganize the energetic structure of the heart through the use of sound.  Once balance at the energetic level is obtained, physical changes can start taking place.
